Camilla “Cami” Falcon

Chair, Professional Standards & Research

Camilla “Cami” Falcon is an enrolled citizen of the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes and a descendant of the Turtle Mountain Chippewa and Blackfeet Tribes. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Kent State University, where she helped establish NASA, the Native American Student Association.

Cami began working for the Cowlitz Indian Tribe’s Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation (TVR) Program in November 2019 as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and was promoted to Program Manager in 2021. Prior to joining the Tribe, she spent nearly 20 years working in Human Resources for Target Corporation, gaining extensive experience supporting employee growth and success.

“I have always wanted to give back and work for our Tribal communities for as long as I can remember,” Cami shares. Today, she finds inspiration in her work and takes great pride in supporting Cowlitz Tribal members and other American Indian/Alaska Native individuals as they pursue employment goals and work toward achieving their dreams.

Outside of work, Cami enjoys spending time with her partner, Chris, their daughters, and their furry family members. She loves visiting Montana, hiking in Glacier National Park during the summer, and attending powwows along the way.
