Mid-Year Conference
The 2026 Mid-Year CANAR Conference, took place in June 2026 at the Hyatt Regency in Green Bay, Wsconsin, and brought together Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation professionals, leaders, and partners for a powerful week of education, community, and cultural renewal.
Conference Highlights:
Venue: Of all hotels in the area, Hyatt Regency Green Bay is the only one to claim the KI Convention Center as its adjoining neighbor. Attendees experienced comfortable luxury and Midwest hospitality in Wisconsin’s oldest city, home of the Packers’ history-rich Lambeau Field.
Opening & Welcome: The event began with a keynote address on current RSA initiatives and national program updates.
Breakout Sessions: Attendees dove into a wide array of sessions on key topics such as the anxiety pandemic, connecting cultural, radical wellness in a fragmented world, difficult cases, fiscal fun—managing grant funs, and a recovery talking circle.
Special Events: Attendees experienced enriching activities such as a glow walk and a recovery talking circle.
Leadership Focus: Tailored sessions supported both new and seasoned Tribal VR directors, covering compliance, innovation, and sustainable growth.
