Treva Roanhorse

Vice President

Greetings, I'm Treva Roanhorse, a proud member of the Navajo Nation, introducing myself with a warm 'Yá’át’ééh’. My heritage is rooted in the T ł'ógi, Tábąąhá, Kinyaa'áanii, Tódich'ii'nii clans from New Mexico. I bring a wealth of experience as the former Director of Navajo Nation Office of Special Education and Rehabilitation Services, and I've had the honor of serving as the former President of Consortia of Administrators for Native American Rehabilitation (CANAR).

Currently, I contribute as an Advisory Council member at Northwest Indian College Tribal Vocational Institute and serve as an advisor to the Find Their Way Program: Communities for Youth Transition with the Sonora Center for Excellence in Disabilities at the University of Arizona. Throughout my career, I've passionately advocated for American Indians and Alaskan Natives with disabilities in tribal vocational rehabilitation and related services. My dedication revolves around ensuring equality, providing adequate services, and fostering support for the self-sufficiency of tribal members with disabilities.

As a committed advocate, I strive to be a voice for the people that the American Indian Vocational Rehabilitation Services (AIVRS) aim to serve.
